Zeynep Kaçar has gifted us a novel, Kabuk, presenting the intertwined stories of a mother, her daughters, and her granddaughter in a puzzle-like narrative. With its fluid and captivating language, it made us grateful for the opportunity to read this novel. We’re glad to have a book club where we can discuss the emotions the book evoked, as well as our thoughts and questions about womanhood, humanity, and the struggles to find and embrace one’s true self.
On January 12th, we’ll gather to discuss Latife Tekin’s novel, Sevgili Arsız Ölüm. Even if you can’t read every book, you’re welcome to join us for the ones you choose to read.
