The Austin Turkish American Association is registered with the Texas Secretary of State as a non-profit organization.

Our association is open to Turks living in Austin, as well as anyone interested in Turkish culture, history, and cuisine, or those who have lived in Turkey at some point.

Our Values

Commitment to the principles and reforms of Atatürk, and the founding values of the Republic of Turkey, are the most important values that unite our members.

As a community that respects human rights and individual freedoms, and believes in democracy and peace, we aim to be a positive force in the society and environment we are part of, both in the U.S. and Turkey.

ATAA-Turk School

For the past 6 years, thanks to our volunteer teachers, we have been strengthening the connection of future generations within the ATAA community to the Turkish language, culture, and history through the free education we provide.
