Juneteenth was declared a federal holiday in 2021 to celebrate Black history, culture, arts and to memorialize the ending of slavery. It is a reminder of the humanity of African Americans and a call for us to honor the spirit of freedom, equity and justice for all throughout the year. #juneteenth
