April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s

Dear Friends,

After a long hiatus, we are excited to celebrate our beloved Atatürk’s gift, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, on April 23rd with the same enthusiasm we had before COVID. This year, April 23rd coincides with the third day of Ramadan Bayram. Although Turkey is in mourning, we didn’t want to miss this special day for our children.

Our celebration will be a picnic-style event focused on discovering and showcasing the talents of our children. Our sole aim is to create a joyful and memorable day for them, honor Atatürk, and celebrate together as a group.

If you let us know the number of attendees, we will be happy to welcome everyone you invite, including your special guests. To cover the expenses (rental fees for Brushy Creek Lake Park Cedar & Cypress Pavilions, inflatable rental, dishes, etc.), there is a $10 entry fee per person. Admission is free for children.

Event Details:

Location: Brushy Creek Lake Park, Cedar and Cypress Pavilions, 3300 Brushy Creek Road, Cedar Park, TX 78613
Date & Time: April 23rd, Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
We will be forming the April 23rd committee soon and would greatly appreciate the continued support from the parents of ATAATURK School. Let’s come together to give our children a day filled with joy and pride in their Turkish heritage. If you are interested in helping out, please let us know through this post. I will add those who express interest to the April 23rd Committee WhatsApp group. We can only achieve our planned activities with your support. After all, we are all volunteers, and strength comes from unity.

We will share more details as soon as possible.

Best regards and warmest wishes,
ATAA
